Wed Feb 13	General Meeting, Membership sign-up - 7:00 PM at the Carleton Place Community Center, Neelin St Boardroom Directions: From Highway 7 go north on McNeely Ave (CR-29). Proceed to Lake Ave ( 2nd set of stop lights). Go west on Lake Ave to Neelin St (stop sign & hospital) turn north on Neelin, go to stop sign. Community Center is on north east corner. Fri-Sun April 11-13	Ottawa Valley Spring Fishing Show - Carp Fairgrounds, Carp. The OVATVC will have a booth at the show, come out and have a chat with us !
Sat April 19	"Spring Fling Run" - Members Only. This is always a popular ride. Everybody's anxious to ride after the long winter and the trails are slick n' slippery at this time of year !
Sat May 3	RESCHEDULED (was April 26) ;Club Fun Run - Members Only. Club Fun Runs will NOT be formally organized runs. We encourage members to coordinate fun runs on the bulletin board - just post a message to see who wants to go, arrange a meeting place and go have some fun.
Wed. May 7	GPS Course We will be offering a course on using your GPS Wed May 7. The course will consist of an evening classroom session and second field work session on the weekend (May 10). This course is tentative and will only be offered if there is sufficient interest. For more details look in the "Rides and Events" section of the OVATVC discussion forum.
Sat May 10	Club Fun Run - Members Only. Field session for GPS course. For more details look in the "Rides and Events" section of the OVATVC discussion forum.
Wed. May 14	Club Meeting 7:00 PM at the Carleton Place Community Center AGENDA: Review how the Spring Fling Run and other runs held to date went. Organize the CHARITY RUN for CAMP TRILLIUM and hand out posters and pledge forms. OVATVC apparel will be available for purchase.
Sat. May 24	Club Fun Run - Members Only.
Sat June 14 and Sun June 14	OVERNIGHT CLUB FUN RUN - MEMBERS ONLY Rick Walker will be leading a two day run out his place near Denbigh. There will be overnight camping available on his property.

Sat. Sept. 13	"CHARITY RUN" - ADVERTISED EVENT; OPEN TO EVERYONE Support a great cause while riding your bike on our scenic trails. For those of you who are not YET members of the club, we offer this invitation to join us for the ride to help send a kid with cancer to camp. Bring your pledge forms and money.

Wed. Oct. 15	Annual General Meeting. CARLETON PLACE 7 WEST MOTEL HWY #7 Carleton Place. 7PM Our final meeting for the 2008 season. AGENDA: Presentation of proceeds from the Charity Run. Financial Update Review 2008 and discuss opportunities for 2008 Elections for 2009 Club Executive.
Sat. Oct. 25	Club Fun Run - Members Only.
November	HUNTING SEASON - No club runs planned.
December	Trails closed for the season
Fri. Dec. 5	Christmas Party Annual Christmas Bash for our membership.
