New for 2009-OVATVC Joins Ontario Federation of All Terrain Vehicle Clubs

For 2009 the OVATVC has affiliated with the OFATV giving our members access to thousands of kilometers of trails in Ontario and Quebec. Membership in our club includes all of the benefits of OVATVC membership plus an OFATV trail pass with all its privledges.

Membership in the OVATVC is $140.00 per machine as of Feb 2009.

All members will receive an OVATVC decal, an OVATVC membership card, an OFATV) Trail Pass and an OFATV decal. All decals must be adhered to the member's ATV so that they are easily viewable.

Unfortunately we will not be able to provide members with the North Frontenac seasonal access permit this year. The pass is available online at the North Frontenac Parklands website.

Club members are responsible for ensuring that they have the proper trail access passes for any and all trails they may chose to ride.

The OVATVC is working with other clubs in the area to increase the total mileage of the trails so we can ride longer and further. Organization is necessary to coexist and to receive public and governmental support.   If we organize to ride safely and legally we can hope to ride virtually forever.   If we don't organize and continue to have more machines with less places to ride we'll be heading for trouble with the public, the government and inevitably the law.

  If you don't, you may end up driving around your yard thinking "maybe I should have" and by then it may be too late.
