How do I Become a Member?

It's easy! Fill out one of our MEMBERSHIP FORMS.

New this year we are offering two types of memberships: Basic and Premium. A basic membership in the OVATVC includes participation in club events, fun runs and voting rights. Basic Membership does not include any trail passes. The cost of a Basic membership is just $25.

Premium membership includes all of the benefits of OVATVC membership plus an EOTA trail pass at a discounted price. The EOTA pass provides access to 900 km of maintained trails in Southeastern Ontario. Premium Membership in the OVATVC is TENATIVELY $120.00 per machine as of Jan 2008. We may be subject to a cost increase in the EOTA pass this year.

Corporate Memberships are available for ATV dealers and other businesses.   Check it out by clicking on the "membership forms" link above! This provides for dealers to reward their employees or allow potential ATV buyers the opportunity to experience the fun of riding with an organized club on our regularly scheduled rides or by themselves on our trails at any time.

An Early Bird Discount of $10.00 is offered on the Premium Membership. To qualify for the early bird discount you must take out and PAY for your Premium Membership before March 31 2008.

All basic members enrolled will receive an OVATVC decal and Membership card. All Premium members will receive an OVATVC decal, membership card and EOTA Trail Pass. All decals must be adhered to the members ATV so that they are easily viewable.

Unfortunately we will not be able to provide members with the North Frontenac seasonal access permit this year. The pass is available online at the  North Frontenac Parklands website

All members regardless of membership type are responsible for ensuring that they have the proper trail access passes for any and all trails they may chose to ride.

The OVATVC is working with other clubs in the area to increase the total mileage of the trails so we can ride longer and further.   For 2008 the OVATVC has AGAIN affiliated with the Eastern Ontario Trail Alliance (EOTA) allowing our members access to 900+ kilometers of additional trails.

Organization is necessary to coexist and to receive public and governmental support.   If we organize to ride safely and legally we can hope to ride virtually forever.   If we don't organize and continue to have more machines with less places to ride we'll be heading for trouble with the public, the government and inevitably the law.

   SUPPORT
YOUR CLUB AND RIDE THE TRAILS.

If you don't, you may end up driving around your yard thinking "maybe I should have" and by then it may be too late.
