Rider information: The
North Frontenac trail permit is not being offered through the club this
year. It is the responsibility of the
member/rider to ensure that he/she has the appropriate pass(es) while using

INFORMATION Operators and passengers ride at their own risk
and shall not hold the OVATVC responsible or liable in any way for injury or
damages suffered. The OVATVC is providing the privilege of trail access
without any guarantee of service or quality. The OVATVC is a volunteer-based
organization with finite resources and manpower; It is not practical or
possible to remove all potential hazards from all trails. Operators shall
meet all Provincial requirements including having a licensed and insured
vehicle and having a valid driver's license or certificate. Operators and
passengers shall obey all applicable laws in the use of their ATV. Operators
and passengers are responsible for obtaining and carrying with them any
and/or all trail permits where required. Operators and passengers shall not be under
the influence of drugs or alcohol while using the trails. Operators shall
ensure that ATV's are operated with appropriate care and control at all
times. Operators acknowledge that the OVATVC does not guarantee the accuracy
of any published trail maps and that it is the responsibility of the Operator
to properly equip themselves with any maps, compasses or GPS units to be used
in the navigation of the trails. Weather conditions and trail use will affect
trail conditions and ATV operation must be adjusted accordingly. The maximum
speed on trails is 50 km/h unless reduced by law or conditions. There may be
users on the trail other than ATV'ers. Operators shall stay to the right of
the trail notwithstanding that there are no centre lines. Operators and
passengers shall understand that ATV trails are not engineered highways.
Operators and passengers shall be aware that emergency and cell phone service
may not be available. Operators and passengers shall be aware that there are
generally no legal requirements for signage on trails and, when provided, it
is only for assistance and convenience. Operators and passengers shall dress
appropriately for all conditions and must have appropriate safety and
